The new Acadia keeps passengers happy in all three rows

Spacious seating for all in the new Acadia. SUV with a Spacious Third Row of Seating Stuck in the back seat. You didn’t call out “Shotgun” soon enough, now you are stuck in the back seat. It’s even worse to be stuck in the back when the vehicle has three rows of seating. Because everyone knows that the third row of seating isn’t fit for an actual human. Well, that was the reality. But with the new GMC Acadia, sitting in the third row has become more of a luxury. That’s because the Acadia is an SUV with a spacious third row of seating. more Just checking the stats on the Acadia shows that the third row of seats is expansive. It offers consumers 55 inches of shoulder room and 24 inches of fore-aft room. Finding a vehicle that has those kind of dimensions in the back is difficult, if not impossible. And thanks to the SmartSlide Seating System, getting to the third row of seats is also no problem. There’s really no reason to be practically crawling over the second row of seating to access the third, but that’s just what you have to do with many SUVs. To seat seven or eight passengers comfortably – including in the third row – you might think the Acadia is huge. But, it really isn’t, it just uses the space well. The 3.6-liter V6 engine gets an impressive 24 MPG on the highway while having the output families need at 288 horsepower. And the AWD makes drivers confident in what the SUV can handle out there in the world. No more complaints from the back seat passengers. This alone makes the Acadia one of the most coveted SUVs on the market. An SUV with a spacious third row of seating is hard to come by, so don’t pass this one up. Want to test out the room? Bring the family to Palmen Buick GMC Cadillac in Kenosha and see how everyone fits! Check out the 2014 GMC Acadia!

Towing a trailer can be stressful. GMC is making the process better

The 2014 Sierra allows you to launch your boat with ease. Towing a Trailer with the 2014 GMC Sierra Towing a trailer isn’t always the most fun thing to do. But, if you want to get your toys to their destination, it needs to be done. And with the introduction of the new 2014 GMC Sierra in Kenosha, towing a trailer just got that much easier. So why is towing a trailer with the 2014 GMC Sierra such a joy? Read on. more GMC went to great lengths to make towing a trailer with the 2014 GMC Sierra much easier for the driver. The truck features the popular Trailer Sway Control that you may have seen on other GMC trucks recently. But, it goes even further than that. The truck now has a Tow/Haul mode that can be activated by a button on the shifter. This modifies the transmission to allow for optimal trailering conditions. The transmission shifts at different RPMs to keep the Sierra pulling properly all the time. And it also allows for downshifting when the truck is slowing up, helping to slow down all that extra weight. In addition to all it does when towing a trailer down the road, the Sierra also has you covered when launching or picking up a boat. Anyone who has done this before knows that when you put your truck into drive, there is a precarious point when it tries to roll back into the lake. Well with the new Sierra, the Hill Start Assist is engaged in this moment, which holds the brake briefly, allowing the driver to get on the gas and pull everything out of the lake. It’s a lot of little things that come together to make towing a trailer a lot less stressful. Dealing with everything that happens on the roads is tough enough without towing a trailer. That’s why GMC put effort into making the process as simple as possible. Be sure to also check out our other GMC trucks in Kenosha in addition to the Sierra!

New Sierra will blaze the path for next-level truck safety features

The safety features on the Sierra are like nothing you've seen in a truck. 2014 GMC Sierra Safety Features When you think about trucks, you typically get the appearance of a rugged vehicle in your mind, right? While the 2014 GMC Sierra will have all of that with its all-new styling, it might also surprise you with some of its other features. Namely, the 2014 GMC Sierra safety features are something to behold and will make the truck the trailblazer for next level full-size truck safety technology. Needless to say, we will be more than proud to welcome the 2014 Sierra into our new vehicle lineup in Kenosha. more One of the big 2014 GMC Sierra safety features that we consider a breakthrough is the haptic seat technology it will be fitted with. This involves a seat that can make you aware of certain driving conditions – all in the name of safety. In conjunction with the Lane Departure Warning, the seat of the new Sierra will vibrate in the left or right side of the seat depending on the side of lane encroachment without an active turn signal. In the same way, the Forward Collision Alert system makes the entire seat vibrate when there is the potential for a collision. While the seat is a real breakthrough, the existence of the technology to tell the seat what’s happening is where the real technology exists. For example, the Forward Collision Alert is able to monitor traffic through the use of a camera behind the windshield. The Lane Departure Warning works in much the same way, employing a camera to help keep you on track. The 2014 GMC Sierra - one safe truck. When pairing these safety systems, officials from GM compared it to someone tapping the driver on the shoulder to inform them of a road condition. But it wasn’t just their best guess, as research they did was able to show that the vibrating seat was more effective than say, an audible warning. Car manufacturers continue to make strides in assuring that vehicles are as safe as they can be for consumers. The 2014 GMC Sierra safety features are just one more step in that process. Crisp, clear calls thanks to Buick QuietTuning technology

Buick Quiettuning Technology In the beginning, making phone calls with your vehicle’s internal system wasn’t so simple. In addition to the technological barriers, the fact is it was just plain too loud inside the vehicle. Buick understood this issue, which is why it instituted Buick QuietTuning technology. Implemented on vehicles like the 2013 Buick LaCrosse in Kenosha, the Buick QuietTuning technology is able to improve call quality using the revolutionary Buick IntelliLink system. more The Buick IntelliLink system is a highly advanced system, so those wishing to make calls through their vehicle have that going for them. But where the Buick QuietTuning technology really takes it to the next level is the noise reduction that is done inside the cabin of cars like the LaCrosse. Specifically, what keeps some of the noise down are things like triple door seals, liquid applied sound deadening and laminated window glass.   With cars like the LaCrosse, a lot of small things can add up to a lot when it comes to keeping the cabin noise down. And once the background noise is eliminated, calls can be made easily and clearly. And in addition to clear calls, passengers will appreciate the low noise of the cabin anyway. If you haven’t experienced a genuinely quiet ride in a vehicle, you might be surprised how nice it really is. Taking the technology to the next level, the Buick IntelliLink system uses voice commands to control functions like navigation and other things. And this of course takes advantage of the noise reduction as well. By pairing a smartphone, users can be completely connected in their new Buick. Don’t believe that the LaCrosse can provide a truly quiet ride? Then stop out to Palmen Buick Cadillac GMC and sit in the LaCrosse and experience the difference in person. In addition, we have a full lot of new and used cars in Kenosha as well.
