The Cadillac ELR is getting some major attention. Through the past few months, if you’ve kept up on Cadillac at all you’ve no doubt heard about the Cadillac ELR. The revolutionary new model is actually an electric car from Cadillac that features the luxury and design Cadillac enthusiasts have come to love. And while it has all that, there is one small difference – it doesn’t run on gas! more At the recent Chicago Auto Show just south of us here at Palmen Buick GMC Cadillac, onlookers got to get a close look at the new Cadillac ELR. And let us tell you, the car was pretty impressive at the show. There were few times where there weren’t people trying to get an up close and personal look at the new vehicle. So what did the onlookers at the show get to see in person? Well, in addition to the smooth and sleek exterior which we will get to, the doors on the ELR were popped to give a feel of the interior as well. The luxurious interior features stitched leather accents, wood accents and technology like the Cadillac CUE system. As for the exterior, it definitely looked like a Cadillac – but you could get the sense of it being an electric car as well. We say this because of the unique grille and hidden door handles that provide some serious aerodynamics. The sleek lines continue down the side of the vehicle and to the backend.
